Karien from Cybersoek shared a telling observation afterwards: "I have found that speed dating is really a skill. By organising meetings like this, we can get better and better at it." This is exactly what makes these meetings so valuable: space to make deeper and deeper connections with each other.
Earlier this month, we already met with the initiatives at Noordje, where we discussed the outcomes of the earlier roundtable at Cybersoek, shared experiences on volunteer deployment and worked together to further explore development questions. This meeting was also of great value: this is how we as an association keep the focus sharp, build on previous conversations and bring members' needs and ideas together to a more concrete level.

The next event is not long in coming. On 9 July, together with the Amsterdam 750 Foundation, we will organise an informal summer drink for members and relations of the Nieuw Amsterdams Verbond, as well as for partners, advisers and former employees of the Amsterdam 750 Foundation.
