The first six months of membership count as a trial period. During this phase, only the membership fee is due and there is no obligation yet to contribute to social initiatives. This allows the ally to get acquainted with the other members and the association and determine whether to continue membership for a period of three years.
Core allies
As a forerunner in the Alliance, you will get exclusive networking opportunities and meetings with other pioneers. You have direct influence on the direction of the Alliance and can propose initiatives that strengthen Amsterdam. Your substantial contribution will make a difference to the future of our city. Commitment: 3 - 5 years.
Contribution: At least €50,000 per year to social initiatives (from the portfolio) and/or the incentive budget
Opportunity to introduce topics and propose initiatives for support.
Networking with other first allies, through meetings, speakers and company visits.
Corporate allies
You commit your organisation to concrete social impact in Amsterdam by providing financial and in-kind support to initiatives that match your corporate values. The Alliance ensures efficient matching and support so that your contribution has maximum impact in Amsterdam's neighbourhoods.
Contribution: At least €25,000 per year to social initiatives (from the portfolio) and/or to the incentive budget. (Of this, €15,000 may be provided in kind, provided it matches the need of the social initiatives).

Family foundations and SME allies
You invest directly in initiatives that strengthen Amsterdam, with a contribution that suits your personal situation. Through the Alliance, you can make targeted contributions to themes that are close to your heart and see what your investment brings to the liveability of our city. Commitment: 3 - 5 years.

Social allies
We are a start-up association and are currently exploring how to accommodate social initiatives that are not (yet) in the portfolio. If you are interested in joining the association, please leave your contact details here. We will of course keep your details carefully and will be happy to contact you as soon as this becomes clearer.

Fund allies
You contribute your expertise to selecting valuable initiatives and can optionally contribute financially to portfolio initiatives. Your knowledge and experience help us make well-considered choices for maximum social impact. This increases your reach and relevance in Amsterdam society. Commitment: 3 - 5 years.
With a personal, annual contribution of €1,000 (for a minimum of five years), you directly support social initiatives from our portfolio and/or incentive budget.
Balanced Member Distribution
To ensure the right balance in our association, we use a clear distribution key: a maximum of one-third of our members are social initiatives, while two-thirds are made up of companies, concerned Amsterdammers and the municipality. When membership in a specific category is full, we place new applications on a waiting list.

SMEs in action against poverty during city anniversary
During the city's birthday, there is a special opportunity for SMEs to make a direct financial contribution to reducing poverty. Join the action '75 companies, 0 poverty'. Your business can make a significant difference to fellow city citizens who are struggling financially. This special anniversary campaign brings local entrepreneurs together to jointly tackle poverty in our community, making the celebration year even more meaningful for everyone.
