Our very first Annual General Meeting is over! What a wonderful turnout. The hall filled up on 10 October with familiar faces and a palpable energy to continue building our city together.
Mayor Femke Halsema shared her vision of our city's social tasks and the role the Nieuw Amsterdams Verbond can play in them. Her words formed a nice kick-off for the conversations that followed: about our plans, our direction and the formal appointment of our director.
After a short break, some social initiatives and businesses showed how they make a difference in our city every day. And as if that was not enough, we closed with Het Danspaleis, who took us on a musical journey full of nostalgia. Before we knew it, we were all in a polonaise: a happy ending to a successful day!
