Selection initiatives portfolio Nieuw Amsterdams Verbond
The first portfolio was created in close cooperation with Stichting DOEN, VSBfonds, Oranjefonds, RCOAK and the municipality (Bureau Integraal Maatschappelijk Initiatief (BIMI). The city districts were also asked for input.
Criteria to be met by social initiatives:
- ANBI status
- Budget of more than €3 tonnes per year and up to €3.5 million in 2023
- Exist for at least 3 years
- Proven impact
- Reliable partner (in the sense that they have already been funded by the municipality and/or one or more funds and they have been well accounted for in the past 3 years and/or have been known to companies supporting them for more than 3 years)
- Active involvement of residents (in design and in implementation)
- Clear development demand in cash and/or in-kind.
- Active in one or more of the following themes: livelihood security, education, health, equity, inclusion.
- Appealing story for businesses/wealthy Amsterdammers
- Can be part of national network, but has its own Amsterdam legal entity and/or clear cooperation with other partners in the city.
- Has accessible information through website
- Initiatives are inclusive and accessible to all, there may be a religious basis but actively propagating faith or evangelising is grounds for exclusion.
